Our Staff

Napier Park prides itself on its caring and supportive staff. Providing empathy and understanding, our team will support and guide you in creating a fitting tribute to your loved one.

Steve Geyer
Steve has gained a vast breadth of valuable knowledge and understanding following 40 years’ experience in the local funeral industry. Steve is a well recognised member of the Bendigo and district community, having grown up in Inglewood. He is well known and respected for being compassionate and considerate when dealing with grieving families and managing funerals.  Steve recognises that no two funerals are the same and it is the responsibility of Napier Park staff to ensure that you and your family are able to farewell your loved one in a manner that is right for you.

Ruth Chilver
Ruth has worked at Napier Park Funerals since 2016. Ruth has experience across all areas of the funeral industry and she feels that this is the most rewarding industry she’s ever worked in.  She believes it is her privilege to do what she can to make the bereavement process for families as smooth as possible. Outside of work, Ruth enjoys spending time getting to know new people and their stories.  Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Ruth moved to Australia in 2010 with her Australian husband and they have two gorgeous girls.

Madison Worona
Madison commenced with our team at Napier Park Funerals in early 2020.
Madison is often the friendly voice on the other end of the phone.
Although being new to the funeral industry, Madison has developed an excellent understanding of customer service and provides a warm and pleasant welcome to families.
Having moved from Tasmania, Madison enjoys walking her fur baby and spending time seeing
what Bendigo has to offer.

Georgina has been in the funeral industry for five years and we welcome her to our team.
Georgina was previously employed in the health care industry and has had over 20 years’ experience in this field. Georgina loves her role in the mortuary and feels that it is an honour and a privilege
